We finally got two of the files creating nice proxys. We will update our template site tomorrow and test it. Then you can upgrade and reindex to test locally.

Hi Christopher. While testing proxy conversions, the cloud icon on the far left of the screen is still spinning after 3 hours. (3 small clips totaling 100Mb and less than 10 sec in duration.) Is there anything I can do to stop this process before our call Thurs at 10am? We have a lot of other things to get through during Andrew's last session with us.

The server drive for emedia generated files is 1TB . At present, there is 830GB free.
So does this mean there is something else causing the UI to hang up?
Please let me know your thoughts so I can decide if it's time to set a meeting with IT to present what we talked about.

I was able to reach Andrew to ask if he could check the server and tell me what he saw. He no longer has access to TAE systems. So we are flying blind.

Only one more file has been completed in 15 hours. Do you mean the logs I can access on the UI or something on the server direct?
I have a call with IT at 2pm PST today to discuss eMedia. Premature to bring you in as though I wonder if there's a simple instruction you can give me to have them look at the server logs?

Very productive call with IT. They are talking with the proper people to explore who might be the Linux person to replace Andrew as well as looking into the possibility of getting you to remote into the server.
Feel encouraged that IT wants to find a way to keep things moving forward. This will take some time for them to sort out and I'll let you know when I hear anything and set up a meeting with you and the proper TAE personnel.
In the meantime, we can use the time Tuesday to go over the spreadsheet for ingest so I can get those prepared... and hope the conversions continue, no matter how slow.
