Preserving Sort Order when Publishing: The team discussed the need to preserve sort order in published galleries and considered implementing sort order versioning to facilitate easy rollbacks. Upcoming Changes & Timeline: A follow-up call with the client is planned to discuss the timeline for these sorting enhancements and other platform updates. Transitioning to new features will not require downtime. To-Do List: Finalize sorting options and set default to ordering ID. Implement new asset handling with the highest ordering ID for default top placement. Explore options for versioning sort orders to support easy rollbacks. Schedule a follow-up call with the client to discuss the timeline and confirm the implementation details. Prepare communication on the updates to assure clients there will be no downtime during changes.

We have the go ahead to make the switch next week, when the main user, Alex (he is out few days this week). We are waiting to hear back from AGBU IT about the passwordless login option as an additional login option. We will let you know once we hear back.

Hello Tracy I just updated Beta site with the sorting improvements we talked about yesterday

The sort now supports sorting by any column first. Then you can tweak it from there. It also support moving groups of files to the top. And it also supports flipping the sort ascending or descending.

Great thank you. The client is OK with leaving the passwordless login option. So we just need to add the two-factor configuration to the username/password screen, but they will have access to both

Good morning. Hope you all had a nice Thanksgiving. Do you want to use this chat or the other chat? Please let me know, as i haven't seen any responses to my messages here. We have a few questions/requests, one which i added last week.

1. When assigning a thumbnail to a gallery (from the data tab), is it possible for the default browse to be the images within the gallery itself? (Christopher said this would be available in 2 weeks) 2. Client is ready for the beta site to go live. As noted above, they are also fine with the passwordless login option 3. We wanted to ask you if it is possible to bulk upload images into galleries based on a folder structure. So basically, we need to migrate 60 years ofCamp Photos, each organized into folder hierarchies, over to EnterMedia galleries. Rather than doing this one gallery at a time, we are wondering if there is a way to do this in bulk, with your help?

Hello Tracy, yes, lets use this chat. Answering your questions: 1. Yes this is one of the new features the new version will include, we are doing a set of extensive tests so I hope we can have a final version soon (2 days max) 2. Great we will let enabled passwordless option 3. Yes, with our desktop tool we have the option to upload in bulk and auto-assign each folder to any desired Entity structure (like create a Collection per each folder). We can schedule a demo session for the Desktop App we can show this tools.

Hello. Was there a change made to the beta site? It appears that my custom sorts of the galleries are not in the "selects" tab

No changes made. Maybe the "Ordering" sort is not selected by default?

It seemed that "selects" was selected, but there were no selects. I had to change the galleries back to Unsorted and then refresh. Not sure how that happened.

How are things going on your end with regards to getting AGBU Beta over to Live? We discussed that we want to change the URL, which requires Joozer's involvement on the AGBU side. He is out of the office but will be back end of next week should you want to do this work before the new year. Else, we should move forward asap first week of January

We have been very busy as always. I think going live at the end of next week is a good goal since we recently created an important set of new internal bug fixes. We would like to do some final testing from Dec 23-27th and plan to go live on around Dec 27?

We are also going some work on updated documentation. We maybe we will have something related to the galleries etc by then and a link in the app.

Joozer is out until 12/27, so i'm sure he will need a day to get caught up. Could we look at Monday 12/30?

yeah we will deploy by Thursday 12/26 and test really well. The plan to go live end of day on 12/30. cheers!
